A Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Esperan\u00e7a & Justi\u00e7a completou, no dia 7 de setembro, 2 anos de exist\u00eancia e muitas conquistas. A celebra\u00e7\u00e3o aconteceu com um culto de A\u00e7\u00e3o de Gra\u00e7as e um coquetel de recep\u00e7\u00e3o na sede da funda\u00e7\u00e3o em Orlando, onde estiveram presentes diretores, conselheiros, volunt\u00e1rios, parceiros e amigos da funda\u00e7\u00e3o. Nesta ocasi\u00e3o, fiz a minha interven\u00e7\u00e3o dirigida aos presentes, que agora dirijo a toda a comunidade atrav\u00e9s deste espa\u00e7o. Aproveito tamb\u00e9m para registrar publicamente minha eterna gratid\u00e3o a este importante ve\u00edculo de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o pelo grande apoio que tem dado \u00e0 nobre causa pela qual lutamos desde o seu in\u00edcio. Segue o discurso:<\/span><\/p>\n

A consci\u00eancia \u00e9 o maior tributo dado ao ser humano por Deus. \u00c9 algo que nos identifica como humanos. Anular a pr\u00f3pria consci\u00eancia \u00e9 a maior prova de mediocridade, aliena\u00e7\u00e3o e insensatez que existe.<\/span><\/p>\n

Estamos aqui hoje, celebrando a vida, a liberdade, a coragem e a independ\u00eancia. N\u00e3o por coincid\u00eancia, mas pelos prop\u00f3sitos de Deus, Esperan\u00e7a & Justi\u00e7a completa dois anos de lutas e vit\u00f3rias. Para cumprir esta nobre e desafiadora miss\u00e3o, que \u00e9 fazer prevalecer a Justi\u00e7a, a Esperan\u00e7a e a Liberdade para todos os injusti\u00e7ados, desesperan\u00e7ados e cativos.<\/span><\/p>\n

Quando agimos de acordo com nossa consci\u00eancia e permitimos que ela seja guiada por Deus, podemos testemunhar frutos magn\u00edficos e aben\u00e7oados como resultado de nosso trabalho. Ao longo desta jornada, enfrentamos os mais diversos desafios, um deles \u00e9 fazer prevalecer a verdade em tudo o que fazemos, na certeza de quem \u00e9 o autor e consumador desta miss\u00e3o, sei que a verdade sempre prevalecer\u00e1, porque a falsidade n\u00e3o sobrevive e n\u00e3o deixa nenhum legado. Acaba perdendo em sua pr\u00f3pria arrog\u00e2ncia. Isso pode at\u00e9 parecer \u00f3bvio e banal, mas quando lidamos com os mais diversos tipos de seres humanos, nessa \u00e1rdua miss\u00e3o, lidamos com situa\u00e7\u00f5es inimagin\u00e1veis.<\/span><\/p>\n

Quando homens maus se re\u00fanem, homens bons devem se unir tamb\u00e9m, caso contr\u00e1rio cair\u00e3o um a um.<\/span><\/p>\n

E parafraseando o fil\u00f3sofo conservador Edmund Burke: \u201cA \u00fanica coisa necess\u00e1ria para o triunfo do mal \u00e9 que os homens de bem n\u00e3o fa\u00e7am nada\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

O fato aqui \u00e9 que para cumprir esta grande miss\u00e3o, precisei convidar os bons para que abra\u00e7assem verdadeiramente esta causa, aceitando o chamado de sua pr\u00f3pria consci\u00eancia e formando o ex\u00e9rcito dos bons. E eles vieram, corajosamente aceitaram tal desafio. E pela gra\u00e7a de Deus, eles continuam vindo. A realidade \u00e9 que cada um de n\u00f3s deve assumir a responsabilidade por nossas pr\u00f3prias vidas, pelas vidas de nossas fam\u00edlias, por nossa comunidade e por nossa Na\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/span><\/p>\n

Devemos estar vigilantes, atentos e unidos, pois existem muitas m\u00e1s associa\u00e7\u00f5es por a\u00ed. Como tantas organiza\u00e7\u00f5es criminosas. Se cada um de n\u00f3s se preocupar apenas com os nossos interesses, esse nosso ego\u00edsmo certamente nos levar\u00e1 \u00e0 nossa ru\u00edna, e n\u00e3o apenas \u00e0 nossa, mas \u00e0 ru\u00edna de todos aqueles que querem construir uma sociedade melhor.<\/span><\/p>\n

Outro desafio que enfrentei e quero compartilhar com voc\u00eas hoje \u00e9 que o prop\u00f3sito de convidar as pessoas para essa guerra contra esses crimes hediondos foi e ainda \u00e9 despertar a coragem que essas pessoas inerentemente t\u00eam dentro de si e ajud\u00e1-las a combater o medo. Nenhuma paix\u00e3o rouba t\u00e3o eficazmente seus poderes de a\u00e7\u00e3o e racioc\u00ednio quanto o medo. Se h\u00e1 uma coisa terr\u00edvel que o medo faz com a vida das pessoas \u00e9 a paralisia. Voc\u00ea n\u00e3o tenta as coisas quando tem medo, n\u00e3o se expressa, n\u00e3o falha, procrastina e, portanto, nunca cresce, nunca avan\u00e7a, nunca vence. O medo \u00e9 o mais ignorante, o mais injusto e cruel dos conselheiros. A \u00fanica coisa que o medo n\u00e3o paralisa \u00e9 o tempo, seu tempo sem d\u00favida passar\u00e1. E tamb\u00e9m as oportunidades de crescimento, de trabalhar para promover o bem e a felicidade para voc\u00ea, sua fam\u00edlia e sua comunidade. Quando o medo atacar, aja e fa\u00e7a algo significativo ou mesmo algo simples. As concess\u00f5es dos fracos s\u00e3o as concess\u00f5es do medo. Quando nos falta coragem, n\u00e3o somos mais livres, seremos cativos quando escolhas e decis\u00f5es se tornarem produtos do medo. Que escolhas fizemos? Eles refletem nosso eu livre, respons\u00e1vel e corajoso? Como estar\u00e3o nossas m\u00e3os no grande dia da presta\u00e7\u00e3o de contas ao Senhor? Vazio?<\/span><\/p>\n

Devemos refletir constantemente sobre nossa fidelidade aos nossos princ\u00edpios e prop\u00f3sitos. Ser virtuoso \u00e9 ser fiel ao prop\u00f3sito, realiz\u00e1-lo com determina\u00e7\u00e3o, disciplina e amor. Ele ama verdadeiramente aquele que \u00e9 livre para se doar aos outros. O amor n\u00e3o \u00e9 um sentimento ou emo\u00e7\u00e3o. O amor est\u00e1 profundamente relacionado com a doa\u00e7\u00e3o. \u201cNingu\u00e9m tem maior amor do que este: dar a vida pelos amigos.\u201d Jo\u00e3o 15:13.<\/span><\/p>\n

Somos livres \u00e0 medida que desenvolvemos o autoconhecimento e o conhecimento do mundo ao nosso redor. O ser humano livre nunca age com dolo, mas sempre de boa f\u00e9. \u00c9 vital que retiremos de n\u00f3s mesmos, da maneira que nos pare\u00e7a mais segura e l\u00edcita, tudo o que existe nas coisas que julgamos ruins, ou seja, acreditamos que podemos nos impedir de existir e de desfrutar de uma vida racional.<\/span><\/p>\n

Qu\u00e3o valiosa \u00e9 a liberdade para voc\u00ea? Mas o que \u00e9 liberdade sem sabedoria e virtude? Devemos lutar pela liberdade com o melhor de nossa capacidade, e devemos usar essa liberdade com responsabilidade.<\/span><\/p>\n

A verdadeira liberdade n\u00e3o consiste em escolher entre o bem e o mal, mas em poder voltar-se para o bem e renunciar ao mal.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00c9 para cumprir este prop\u00f3sito que existe a Hope & Justice Foundation; volte-se para o bem e renuncie ao mal. Trazendo esperan\u00e7a, promovendo a justi\u00e7a e lutando pela liberdade. Servindo a comunidade, a Na\u00e7\u00e3o, sempre pautada pelos Princ\u00edpios Crist\u00e3os e Constitucionais, Lei e Ordem.<\/span><\/p>\n

O objetivo destas minhas palavras como Fundador e Presidente da Hope & Justice Foundation \u00e9 apresentar nesta data solene e comemorativa os Princ\u00edpios, Valores e Virtudes que s\u00e3o os fundamentos de nossa institui\u00e7\u00e3o, al\u00e9m de exortar a todos voc\u00eas a uma reflex\u00e3o vital sobre a responsabilidade de cada um como cidad\u00e3o e crist\u00e3o nesta grande guerra que travamos contra os inimigos da vida, da dignidade humana, da justi\u00e7a, do bem e da paz.<\/span><\/p>\n

Louvo a Deus por esta oportunidade t\u00e3o valiosa de servir humildemente meus irm\u00e3os, toda a sociedade e esta grande Na\u00e7\u00e3o. Eu louvo a Deus pelas vidas preciosas que abra\u00e7aram esta causa nobre e as que vir\u00e3o. Pe\u00e7o a Deus que dirija as v\u00edtimas que clamam por ajuda para n\u00f3s.
